This is a demo of a few artistic effects added to a basic sunset timelapse. The effect being applied to the jpg images before being made into video sequences.
The suset time-lapse sequence I filmed here was over a 35 min period, filming starting at 4.40pm on 5th November 2006. It is made from 300 photographs, captured using a Canon Ixus 430 with PC control.
I have used the "record script" and "Batch process" features in Paint Shop Pro X to make a few different effects here.
The first sequence is the sunset played as-is, then played backwards. This is followed by five different photo effects sequences. As you can see some work better than others.
00:00 Normal as-is footage.
00:24 Coloured Foil effect.
00:48 Curled corners effect.
01:00 Weaved effect.
01:12 Mirror effect.
01:36 Watercolour Brush effect.
I really like the second sequence with is vivid colours. This is the "Colored Foil" filter in PSP10.
Hope you like my video. Which sequences do you like best here?
