Nice video, Chris! This brings back memories of when I lived in Naples, FL not to far from Cape Coral. Also, my grandparents use to live in Cape Coral.

Yeah, I like it here when it rains. Not when it's 90 degrees and humid. Been to Naples a couple times.

Soaked. Kept the camera mostly dry though. And I did think about the sound. Definitely more effective with the nats and no music.

A good external mic is on my wish list - any recommendations?

Yeah, I don't care much for driving in the rain, but as long as I'm hanging out at home it's great. Unfortunately, I can't tell you much about external mics. I'm going to start researching them soon myself. But I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for yet.

@ Pixel Viking and Chris- although its spendy the Canon DM-50 mic is probably your best bet to use with the Hotshoe on the HV20/30
