We wanted to represent the psychological steps you get through when you lose somebody.
Act 1: The pain of loss.
Act 2: The relief in solitude and oblivion
Act 3: Agoraphobia
Act 4: Misanthropy as a transfert of the rancour.
Act 5: Agoraphobia, confusion, desperation.
Act 6: The rejection of any relashionship. The dog is a symbol of strong links.
Act 7: Dehumanisation of the others. Leave me alone, bastards.
I thought it was about a human and his manner of life: He represents a person who has its own way to go. Although its dirrection was another as those of the most others, he went straight trough. It wasn´t easy- he felt pain on his way. The effect of this being-different and the fight against the mainstream, was that he can´t trust anyone. The dog as a symbol for trust. This reminds me on the Story Bertholt Brecht. When you were in war, you can´t understand why it is bad to kill people. When you were in a society which can´t function in a human way, then there is someone you can trust. But in that moment you have forget how it is to trust in a person. ;)

Am I right?
but you're right about the shutter speed.
We actually did more or less all the shots 100/fps, so when we roll it at normal speed, there is less motion blur and it allow us to slow down whenever we want.
To all the animal lovers: stupid dog was spreading the black plague.
