A series of portraits made for Channel 4's 3 Minute Wonder Strand profiling the photographers mentoring and judging Channel 4’s "Picture This" photography competition.

This film is a portrait of artist Joy Gregory, who here uses one of the earliest Victorian photographic processes, Cyanotype, to record the flora of the Thames. The use of Cyanotype was pioneered by Anna Atkins, making her an icon for women in the use of technology. Gregory uses cyanotypes of imagery associated with femininity to bring those stereotypes into question.

Here she explores the language of flowers, a Victorian concept that held that each flower contained an underlying meaning or message.

The music is Richard Tauber singing Schumann's "Moon Night".
