Night Life is a portrait of five individuals who live outside the mainstream. They work at night, a time when most of the world is sleeping. The characters in Night Life share their individual perspective and experiences revealing why they are drawn to the night. This film is a glimpse into the lives of Melissa, a single mother; Moses, a recovering alcoholic; C.J. who is forced to make compromises; Rich who is seeking human connection and Jeffrey who enjoys being different. Whether they work nights out of necessity or for personal preference, the night is an extension of their identity, affecting their relationships and their view of themselves and others.
