February 16th, 2008. The bouys were reading 15-18ft and most of the big name surfers were over in Hawaii waiting for the Eddie Aikau contest to go off. Mavericks was left wide open for the mere mortals to enjoy. Josh Ryan got these five waves on a 'bluebird' day.
