This is a refresh of the original Social Media Revolution with updated statistics and images. Created by author Erik Qualman and based on the #1 Best Selling book Socialnomics.

Erik you bombarding us with figures and statistics. If wanna be taken serious you need footnotes about sources of data and measurement methods.
Otherwise it is just your subjective opinion.

I agree. Specifically the bit about online education. I would like to see the methods used to gather that information. Though I do agree with the initial premise that social media has far surpassed the label of "fad."

The problem with this video is that it provides no references. Unlike say the "Groudswell" or "Open Leadership", which provides well sourced analytics and logical arguments this video, though likely more right then wrong, might be really wrong in some ways. We cant check because we don't know from what sources it draws its references and conclusions. Its a little too fadish in its presentation. Its a nice advertisement.
