Very good work for the length of the film. I love Dr. Wiley's acting, as he just fit the part.

MegaMan, has and always will be my favorite video game series. You have done it great justice with this fan-film. Excellent work. I hope that the studios see this, and pay for you to make an official big budget version.

    ~Great Job man.

Wow.. Great Job. I have seen movies (Alone in the Dark, House of the Dead) with 8 million dollar budgets that aren't as good as what you did.. Keep it up! Can't wait to see what you can do with a budget.. Also having people that can actually act, makes such a difference! I loved Roll!

    Awesome, ur from NYC too

This is way better than Hollywood adaptations of previous Capcom games...I know that's not saying much but uhh....yeah...u get the point

-I think the Mega Man in this movie has a personality which resembles X way more than the actual Mega Man. I can't really blame you since X had way more depth.
    - I thought Mega Man was "allergic" to physical contact with other robots

The only bad thing was the cgi, but all the rest is perfect for a zero budget production!

I had no problem downloading the .mp4 with VideoDownloadHelper for Firefox. I converted it to a 320x240 .avi so I could watch on my GP2X Wiz. The .mpg is a good quality 640x360.

Woah. This was much better than I expected.

Fights seemed to be too short, and the pacing of some scenes seemed to be off, but the plot was true to the game, and the acting was good.

When I was a kid I thought about how cool it would be to take the mega man story & make it into a movie.

    Thanks for the upload

  • I just seen it now, and I must say that, in all terms, you have done a great job! It captures the essence and the story of the videogames, it's well directed, the FX are considerably well done for a low budget film like this one, the narrative rythm was nearly perfect and the soundtrack by Daniel James was impressive. I hope some major sees this job and contacts you to direct a blockbuster movie, I think you would do it really well. Congratulations man, keep going!

I never really followed Megaman but I am familar with the character. I enjoyed the cinemaphotography and the way you developed the story. I really wished I worked along side you when you worked on this film. I am a writer and I was wondering if you would be interested in helping me develop a film. Perhaps you can watch my trailer and maybe we can talk. Misfits Prime under the name of Dartistman. Thank you for sharing your film. I look forward to seeing more projects.

This movie is very very cool, one of the best game adaptations. I'm a long time Megaman fan and I can say the scenes of Yellow Devil and final battle in Wily Castle were fantastic. And that Roll was so cute...
    Congratulations!

WARNING! If you are not familiar with Megaman or have not played any of the games in the Megaman series... DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO! You will not understand what the heck is going on and think that this is all nonsense.

HOWEVER! For those who have played most, if not all, of the megaman series (like me), this movie was a throwback! Wow, as a kid, i do remember waking up early to watch the cartoons with gutsman, cutman, and all uh 'dem and this movie just takes me back. For what it's worth, it wasn't a bad movie. Yea the acting was cheesy and the fight scenes could have lasted a little longer... but the point was made.

Great job with incorporating Protoman (Blues, in the movie), that yellow blob thingy, the floating Wily fortress, and spreading out the bots throughout the city. However, I do have a question. Since the bots in this movie were from the original Megaman series, should Rush have appeared in this movie as well? (Or maybe I'm asking for too much lol) Oh and one more question. Was Megaman shooting his X-buster while he was teleporting? I don't remember that in the games (but correct me if I'm wrong).

All in all, great job! The amount of effort is definitely evident. And for all those people that say it was a crappy movie, I want to just encourage you to look at the bigger picture. You can't tell me that after watching this movie that it didn't remind you of when you used to (or still do) play the game. Since it did, it served its purpose.

EPIC!!! I could be a critic and pick it apart but I just can't. I've seen movies in Hollywood with a much bigger budget make a crappier movie.. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more from you.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO, i love the movie, but the stupid thing is it freezes halfway through it. i get to watch up until iceman, but whenever i get to the part when he is defeated, my video always freezes and no mater what i do a cant get it to unfreeze. by the way, love the movie, i have few comments though, rolls voice could have been better, but other than that, acting was perfect
  • Kris Bright 11 months ago
I have the exact same problem as you, I can't seem to get around it.
  • Dan Robert Polsrød 10 months ago
Don't you get it? It "freezes" right before Ice Man is defeated. :-P

Amazing for a low-budget film! The only thing I didn't like was the soundtrack; it didn't really do the movie justice. If you were to ever make a big-budget version, or a re-release even, I'd love to add some more appropriate music. I can send you some samples if you'd like :)

Seeing as you're unable to sell the DVDs legally yet, would you be willing to let us download the m4v file? I would really like to see this film in the best quality possible. :-)

Holy crap! This has got to be a first for me. This was actually a well-made megaman production. It should be put in theaters if it hasn't yet.

There wasn't any corky/goofy acting and it wasn't created with a corny/cheezy style I would usually find in other megaman productions (so many... crappy... TV cartoons... gah!). It was well thought out and well put together.

Making a game to a film must be incredibly hard, as the to mediums differ from each other on so many levels. But Eddie's crew succeeded where Hollywood failed. Why? They have passion for there work and put in an inhuman amount of effort in to it. Hollywood "just" throws bag o' cash at a big project and creates a soulless product. This movie is the reason why I have complete confidence in the Sonic Fan Film. It is this piece of craftsmanship that I think that if anybody is capable making a Sonic film it is Eddie Leborn's team. I wish them good luck for there future endeavours.

If this film is ever re-made, add Rush when Mega Man needs to reach the castle... Nonetheless, brilliant film!
