Professor of Middle Eastern Studies and History, Zachary Lockman, provides an overview of the origins, development, and varying trends of Zionism. Professor Zachary Lockman is chair of the Department of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at New York University. He is author of COMRADES AND ENEMIES: ARAB AND JEWISH WORKERS IN PALESTINE, 1906-1948 and CONTENDING VISIONS OF THE MIDDLE EAST: THE HISTORY AND POLITICS OF ORIENTALISM. He spoke in his office on the campus of New York University on March 17th, 2010.
