The cutters and carvers at Bybee and other limestone mills in the area are to thank for building the finest limestone structures in America.

Most of Indiana University in the heart of Bloomington is made of Indiana Limestone, along with the Empire State Building, Washington D.C.'s National Cathedral, the Pentagon, the Lincoln Memorial, the U.S. Capitol and 35 State Capitol Buildings.

Just recently, this project took the Second Place prize for 2010 Multimedia Story of the Year presented by the Associated Collegiate Press.
