Activists from CODEPINK showed up the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on Saturday May 8, 2010. They checked out some tanks which were parked there as part of a so-called, “Public Service Recognition Week." The CODEPINK activists, let by Medea Benjamin, brought a message of “peace,” to the site on this windy Mother’s Day. As soon as they made an appearance, however, the exhibitors closed their gates. Gee, I wonder why? The activists also sang a ballad with the same hopeful theme of Peace. For background, see: codepink4peace.org/
