Culled from old footage, "En Pointe" is 30 seconds of ballet shoes at work. In a dream-like, empty hallway they try to get their bearings but are controlled by the inner workings of the music box that choreograph them.
In a way this is a throwback to my memories of "The Red Shoes" (1948), which was my grandmother's favorite film. This one is for her.
