Hey very nicely done! Could you please tell me how you can add a square (4 vertices) to an already existing poly without creating 2 separate ones? And please tell me your way of joining one vertex to another: is it welding? or bridging? What technique do you use? I'm very willing to learn, so please tell me :D!
  • There are multiple ways to add a square. One is to create an entire seperate element, so you would have 2 squares in one object. You do this my selecting a square, hold shift and then move it. A message box with prompt with: Clone To Element. Press OK.

Another technique I use is chosing the line tool. Selecting a line. Hold shift, and then drag it. That way you also create a new square, although it's attacked to the line you selected.

For welding most vertexi I use Target Weld, I put the short key for that tool under Ctrl+W, which works very well for me.
When you target weld you basically click one vertex and click another one, and the first one will weld to the second.

If you have any questions just ask :)
