Mr. Mehmet Emre, the manager of Setas Kimya San As, a Turkish company dedicated to the manufacture of dyes, auxiliaries, masterbatch, powder coating, including coatings for the wood industry, speaks about the benefits of its participation in DURAWOOD project.

DURAWOOD, a 2-year research project funded by the European Commission, is developing a a cost-effective, ecological and durable wood coating system that will significantly improve the performance of water-borne coatings for outdoor wood preservation purposes.

The DURAWOOD project is supported by the "Research for the benefit of SME associations" theme of the European Community's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) under the grant agreement number 232296.
