Great atmosphere behind the scenes. I loved that GoPro 3D rig, seems almost too good to be true!

Yes, is there any link about the result footage of this rig ?

    Hats off, total respect.

However, what's the deal with Canon? We seem pretty damn happy except for some kinda reasonable ability to plug in a few monitors. I don't really get why the screen has to be switched off...

I thought HMI was the way to go.... jeez, what's the deal? do we need a "5D assist"? Should we be starting a petition...

    any news from Trammel?

The cameras do look a little ridiculous with all the accessories attached. Exciting stuff all the same, pity we can't see any of the actual footage..ah!

Mr. Bloom you rule. The revolution of SLR's on filmmaking is as the Hubble Telescope on astronomy. This rejuvenated it. Thanks. I just bought a T2i with a couple of lenses and the next day I was shooting with it on a rain forest with ziplines and fell on my face on the mud with it! Nothing happened Uff!. Your Salton Sea Beach clip is amazing. Watching it helped me decide to be part of this.

Im bemused on using a DSLR on such a crew heavy situation - not even using the compact size for POV or something

Kind of getting away from the low footprint ethic ?

Heres a test with no crew at all

Keep on doing it Philip, that's so cool! I love behind the scenes footage. It gives that look into the back room where everyone is aching to get a peak in, I love it!

I also love being able to follow your career, so very cool!

Has any Canon DSLR been tested for VFX yet?
The h264 clamps the colours and washes it out but how does it really behave in nuke?

I mean, has anyone tried to pull a key off of it yet?

Can you hear me cheering, Philip? When you started biting your nails, I actually got scared... (perhaps I'm taking this DSLRevolution too seriously ;-) Me and my little T2i are rooting for you, pal.

Very cool. I am a P.A. on a feature and we used a DSLR for underwater shots on the second unit. It will be interesting to see how it compares to the first unit red ones when everything is edited together.

Nice vid, love the timelapse stuff..Looks like the A cam is a Sony F35...man they're big ugly brutes to work with. One of those (incl the SRW-1 deck) with a 20x Optimo and an MB14 weighs in at 6 stone! HDSLR's all the way!

Do you prefer Canon 5D or 35mm Kit like Letus?
I work with an home made 35mm kit, I like it but I hesitate to buy a Canon 5D...
