This video was a trailer from 2008 for a research project in industrial robotic fabrication. The project was done at the Yale School of Architecture by Cody Davis and Patrick Lun and advised by Mark Gage. The research interrogates a pursuit of beauty outlined in Edmund Burke's Philosophical Enquiry, through experimentation with emerging technologies in CNC fabrication and surface modeling software.
