This is a demonstration of some software I wrote a while back using python and HTML. Here is more information: blog.datasingularity.com/?p=50 . The idea is that you can send data from a public web browser to any machine connected to the custom server I created. In this demonstration, I used my cell phone to send different strings to an LCD on an Arduino connected to my laptop which is, in turn, running my client side software that connects to the server. You could easily use this software to do all sorts of crazy stuff like control your house from the internet or whatever you can think of.
