En Garde (f., engl. to warn/ put someone on their guard)- is a videofilm about public control and power, the subtle line between private and publicly seen. The approach is through the art museum institution. People are being encouraged to control public space where they live in through photographing. In a society that is available 24/7, cell phone cameras, digital cameras, video cameras and surveillance cameras monitor our life. Monitoring can also have a more personal meaning to the photographer, of which he is often unconscious: The need to tell a story in the middle of the fragmentary reality, collecting a personal album of memories, or analyse and classify the ever-changing phenomena around him.
