Crime of the Week #20-33

This week’s “Crime of the Week” concerns a Burglary that occurred in Worthington.

On Friday, April 2, 2010, around 8:45pm, two male suspects drove a mid-sized late model 2-door gray Hyundai Elantra automobile to the rear parking lot of a business in the 6800 block of High St., in Worthington. The two men entered the facility through a rear door of the building, which customers sometimes enter through, but also provided access to the basement. The two suspects went into the lower level and into the basement. Once inside, both suspects entered an office and removed cash from the business safe. After one of the suspects stuffed the cash under his shirt, the pair exited the business through the rear door. Surveillance video of the entire crime may be viewed at our website stopcrime.org.

Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000.00 for any information received by May 26, 2010, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
