thanks Annie, I very nearly decided not to post this as it was all experimental stuff - I was trying out many things and so many things were not right. But, I played with some filters and left in the gaffs and this is the end result.

not too sure what you mean by 'slow think' but we do get our moments with the weather here in the UK ;-)

Sometimes, you just have to make the most of what you have available...

oh yes after your video i will try to shoot a picture out of my office every 20 sec. nice skyline over the city of hamburg, i think the sunrise will be looking good too.

one of the hardest things with time lapse clouds is trying to find the right ambience with the soundtrack. I hit lucky with this one as I was trying out a new lens and the camera kept trying to switch from manual to auto - with the in-built flash going off - arrhhh!

Still, I played about with the footage after placing a rubber band over the camera body to stop the pop-up flash and this is what I was left with. Then I matched the cloud movements to the audio and suddenly, it all seemed to fit - albeit not perfect ;-)
