As of September 30, 2010, Foundation-supported programs have provided more than 196,000 women in Rwanda with PMTCT services; enrolled nearly 25,000 patients into HIV care and support programs, including nearly 2,000 children under the age of 15; started nearly 10,000 individuals on antiretroviral treatments (ART) for HIV/AIDS, including nearly 900 children under the age of 15; and provided nutritional assistance and education to patients on ART at 23 Foundation-supported sites through counseling and kitchen garden training.
