An ethnographic documentary film made during the Beyond Observational Cinema module of my MA in Development Studies and Visual Anthropology at Manchester University
The film explores the extended family system in Sierra Leone, West Africa through the depiction of the friendship between Charles and Abass, adopted brothers living in Kambia Town.
My thanks to Charles Kabba, Abass Bangura and Moses Kabba.
Thanks also to The Kambia Appeal, UK, and the IDPM and the Granada Centre, both at the University of Manchester.
