This personal video journal of my experience as a waitress in Austin, TX had an impact on my future projects. In a short period of time the video addresses the financial insecurity associated with service jobs as well as middle class dreams that keep workers going. This project represents the beginning of my use of traditional documentary interviews as a part of experimental film/video projects.
