This is a trailer of our film, "The Summer of Walter Hacks". Our film is in black and white and tells the story of an 11-year-old farm boy, during the summer of 1952. He lives on the farm with his father and older brother and they all do their chores. His seemingly idyllic life is challenged when tragedy strikes the farm and he and his brother need to make things work "all on their own". They have to grow up fast and we see Walter transition from a young boy with an adventurous summer to a young man having to make hard choices. Full of humor, adventure and excitement, this film is capturing hearts, from 11 year old children to their great grandparents and everyone in between.
