Documentation of a presentation by Simon Blackmore - a Manchester based media artist and member of the Owl Project - on the process behind his 'data sculpted plants' project which uses the technique of long exposure photography to capture mechanically drawn light tracings.
Unfortunately the secondary camera recording the screen and audio failed (the iPhone audio has been been processed somewhat in an attempt to improve audibility) so there's no screenshots and the iPhone footage has several breaks since I didn't realise ProCamera only records 10 minutes of video at a time...
Thanks to Simon for an enjoyable and engaging insight into his work.
