Allison and I traveled counter-clockwise around the island on the ring road, starting in Reykjavík on March 26, 2010. We saw countless waterfalls, glaciers, lagoons, rock formations, horses, and fjords. We bathed in geothermal water every chance we could get. Our adventures could be itemized this way:

Day 1-2: Blue Lagoon and Reykjavík
Day 3: Gulfoss, Strokkur, Þingvellir, Frost & Fire Guesthouse
Day 4: Skógar, Vík
Day 5: Glacial Walk, Skaftafell National Park, Jökulsárlón Glacial Lake
Day 6-8: Driving, Mývatn, Mývatn Nature Baths
Day 9-12: Driving, Hótel Glymur, Hvalfjörður, Northern Lights, Traveling home
