A little while ago I tried out a website that offers users the ability to create photo slide shows with the minimum of fuss! The website is animoto.com/ and the original video I created from the site can be found here vimeo.com/1047082.

Lately however, they have now extended their service to give their users the option to create a DVD version of their slide shows. This will give you a TV Quality .mp4 file and an .iso file for you to burn to DVD - great for the non-technical minded who simply wants to share their photos with friends and family who do not have a computer :)

Here's the downside though, each video will set you back $5.00 USD !!! It may seem inexpensive at first, but when you consider that you may have more than one slide show you want to put on DVD, that could amount to a large amount of money.

Anyway, here is my $5.00 worth of that same video with a resolution of 864 x 480 upscaled to HD720p - let me know if it is worth the money after seeing the difference?
