Looks like this video's plays are catching up to the Kickstarter pledge total :). Everyone should head over to kickstarter.com/projects/blinkworks/indie-game-the-movie and continue to support - this thing is going to be a masterpiece.

Its such a shame kickstarter doesn't accept paypal :( not 18, so no credit-card for me and now I cant donate. Which really bugs me because I want to, at least something

  • equipment that you used to film this?
  •
  • For this shoot, we used:

    2 Canon 5D Mark II
    EF 70-200L Lens 2.8
    EF 24-105
Zoom H4N and a Sennhesier Lav
    Zylight Z90 (mostly for backlight)
A Lowell Pro Kit (used sparingly though, open windows provided most of the light, the lowell softbox provided a fill)
And of course, that beautiful piece of simplicity and magic know as the GlideTrack
  •
  • @Ilumbo, Thanks! We definitely made this piece with the intention of it being a representation of how we'd like to treat the entire film (for the most part, of course different sections will have a decidedly different vibe), so chances are if you're digging the preview piece, you'll dig the final product (even more we hope:)

Working with Edmund and Tommy was fantastic, not only because they have great stories, but because they both have such rich visual material to compliment those stories.

Luckily, that's a trend we're finding with the other developers we're profiling - tons of material to work with (yey!)

Also, yep 8bitpeoples.com - going to be going through that site for sure, hopefully we can get some tracks on board for the final film.

    Thanks again!

touching to the very edge, that folks, is documentary in it's best form!
  • Thanks for the kind words! It means a lot, especially since we're in the thick of crrently filming the rest of the movie. If all goes well, we'll have another 75 mins like what we have up top :)

Wow, I really can't wait for this because honestly I can relate a lot to this guy.

Especially the part about getting those debilitating stomach aches due to nervousness. Those sucked, haha..
