Made for the Same Video, Different Use game: vimeo.com/clipdub

The sound came out a bit clicky but that's Final Cut for you.

It ends with Stephen G's Drain transition:

Good job with this. This video is so hard to do.

Nice. Her face at the end reminds me of the scene in Requiem for a Dream when they give Sarah Goldfarb the tranquilizer shot toward the end and her face shrinks.

I am glad that keg of bad home brew didn't go to total waste.

Superb work. PS. I always take my audio from final cut to pro-tools to get rid of the clicks.

Cheers for the tip. I cut the pictures and sound together, can a Final Cut project be opened in Pro Tools?
  • Bill plus 2 years ago
Not exactly. You have to export the film and audio separately as quicktime files. Pro-tools then lets you import both but you can't edit the film in pro-tools. What I tend to do is finish my edit in Final Cut and then clean up the audio in pro-tools.

LMAO I was going to give it a shot but I'm not sure I can after seeing this- that was SMASHING!

It's great to see the unique way that everyone treats these challenges. Everyone should give it a go. It's a really useful editing exercise. And if what you do works, then I can nick your idea for the next one.

The video is well done, but straightforward. The tune you've created is what really amazes me -- somewhere between Madlib and Kid Koala.

    Wow. Thanks Kyle!
