No real point or narrative; just a bunch of scenic nature/wilderness footage I shot with my girlfriend and her parents on a hike in Yosemite. Only had my pocket tripod and was rather dehydrated, so some (most :P ) of the shots are a little shaky.

Filmed on a Canon HV30, 24p. Footage imported via FireWire to a MacBook Pro. 3:2 pulldown with mencoder, converted to AIC with JES, edited in Premiere. Music is Philip Glass's Prelude: Refrain, Verse 1, Verse 2 from Akhnaten.

I'm still playing around with the camera and with editing and such, and with getting the output converted to H.264. This is the first thing I've done in years and is mostly test footage, so please forgive any choppiness or bad encoding or poor quality of any sort.
