I first saw three on the wire and thought they were starlings, but with binoculars realized they were male Brown Headed Cowbirds, a "parasite" bird because they lay eggs in other birds nests and that other bird raises the young of the Cow Bird. Their song sounded much like red winged black birds, a clicking, water droplet, and high whistle. This must be a territorial display or there was a female nearby that I could not see. I got my Tripod, but it is still a little shaky. I knew they might not be there for long so I was still setting the tripod as I recorded. I stopped recording to readjust the tripod, they flew off. The volume is quite low but there is sound. You will also hear a dove and a screaming Scrub Jay in the background as well.
