The Foundation’s Côte d’Ivoire program began supporting HIV/AIDS care and treatment in 2004 and prevention of mother-to-child HIV transmission (PMTCT) services in 2005.
As of September 30, 2010, Foundation-supported programs have provided more than 699,000 women
with PMTCT services; enrolled more than 172,000 patients into HIV care, including more than 12,000 children under the age of 15; and started more than 81,000 individuals on antiretroviral therapy (ART) for HIV/AIDS, including nearly 5,000 children under the age of 15.
