This documentary follows British artist Fletcher Crossman as he investigates the historical role of women in religion, while working on a controversial painting depicting the crucifixion of a woman. By interviewing people on both sides of the issue, Fletcher gains a deeper understanding of the complex relationship between organized religions and the women who follow them.
