This is a monologue I did in Jesse Vint's acting class. First time I performed the monologue which runs about 8 minutes. Sophie is talking to her friend Stingo, describing the painful incident in Auschwitz that gave rise to the film's title. I was inspired to do this monologue for it's depiction of the impact of war and the affect it had on one mother's life. Let's envision a world of peace and remember those who have suffered or are suffering right now from war. Comments welcomed!
