Really liked it, very well made. Especially the part where the room goes dark and he sits there as if in a spotlight.

Stephen- An HD100 (don't remember the brand) with a lens adapter, I believe (Used Chad Terpstra's camera, if you know him)

David- That part was the hardest shot in the film, requiring multiple takes. We took it just before our lunch break, making everyone a little on edge as the takes went on.

Thanks for all the great comments!

Wow! Thanks for all the great comments! They really mean a lot.

I'd like to point out that the cell phone ring "I Wanna Rock You (Until the Break of Dawn)" was an original song written in the course of two days by my composer Jared Hudson. If anyone is in need of a composer, he's your guy! He also scored one of my other films that I hope to add on here soon.
  • Jeremiah Jacobs 3 years ago
In a way, it's that gimmick (the cell phone song) that really makes this whole thing come together.

    Composers are quite under-appreciated. ;)

The script is so well done!
The twist in the title, the scenes interlinking with each other. I started off thinking it's related to the food menu, but the plot only thickens after he said "You could make me out - from my picture." Then all hells break lose.

    Wonderful team work!! Awesome production!
Props to Jared for his trouble-wrenched ringtone! ;)

    Damn iPhones.

Awesome job matthew! G-RAP FTW!!! <3

OH MAN I totally recognized this as Chad and Brian's work.....before the credits. I love Brian's lighting so hard. Did Chad use his JVC on this?

I miss those guys so much! If you see them tell them Karen (that graduated from Calvin) says Hi!!

    Oh trust me, I know.

Having seen this film dozens of times, I've found every-single-problem with it.

But I don't think we need to play a game of "Spot the Mistakes". :-)

why didn't the guy just say something like: "i'm sorry i was playing with your phone and it accidentally took a picture"? He then wouldn't have to act like a stupid homicidal freak.
  • Matthew Dressel 3 years ago
I guess that's just the style of comedy I like. Most of my favorite comedies would have ended after about 15 minutes if the person just told the truth.

Heck, the entire series of "Frasier" wouldn't have existed without that mentality. :-)

That was hilarious. Hmm, I thought iPhones were "dumbed" down for people, sadly. I mean, it has one big button on the front. (I could see confusion with a Windows Mobile PDA ;) ) Even a two year old can get their way around, but still funny.
