pretty fun, is that really 16mm or did you just do the "effects" as it looks pretty interlacy.
  • Kirsten Lepore 1 year ago
It's 16mm, but in order to get a digital version to upload here, I had to use an XLR camera to videotape the film projected on the wall (which is why you have that black feathered edge)

awesome video, I would try de-interlacing it though
  • Kirsten Lepore 1 year ago
Yea those lines really bother me, I don't know how to do that tho....
  • Victor Stuber 1 year ago
I dont know what program you use, but when you export, there is usually a de-interlace function
  • Kirsten Lepore 1 year ago
    k, cool, thanks!

This movie is too complicated for me...

How could you make this movie while you where captured in the sand?

Did you start the cam before you went underground?

Why does your hair looks so clean and not a little bit sandy? Is there a shower beneath the beach?

    So many questions... ;-))
  • Kirsten Lepore 1 year ago
haha, my camera assistant Joyce did the last shot while I was coming out of the hole...

...and I use pantene pro V, hehehe.
  •
  • Wolfgang Gaebler plus 1 year ago
TsTsTs... so this is a commercial spot for pantene pro v... ;-))

You should make this more clear... ;-)

"That's the last time someone plays a prank on me while sunbaking..." >_<

Seriously, what did you shoot with and the stock? I'm hoping to do some stuff on 16mm myself.

Haha, awesome video. What 16mm camera did you use?
  • Kirsten Lepore 1 year ago
Thanks! 'Twas an old school bolex camera
  • Iain plus 1 year ago
The one you wind, and get like 34 seconds of use each time out of ? I got to shoot 16mm a few times, and loved it. I used an old bolex as well.
  • Kirsten Lepore 1 year ago
yep, exactly! I love those bolexes...and I especially love the sound the film makes when it's running through the camera...ahhh so nice!
  • Iain plus 1 year ago
haha yeah. Well, I hope to see more from you soon, all your videos are great.
