These objects were collected from various sidewalks in Trenton, NJ, the day of bulk trash collection. I have taken these objects as my own and repurposed them into a temporary sculpture on my own body, restricting my movement and causing intense pain. Each object has a history and a distinct emotional weight from the homes of each individual that disposed of these items. Everything we own becomes a burden to us in times when we analyze our lives and strive to simplify and get rid of this "stuff". These items we own become mental and physical weights that never cease to tug our strings.

Approximately 150 pounds of objects, give or take 20 pounds, placed one at a time by an assistant and friend.
