2. There Will Come Soft Rains
This animation is based on the short story of the same name by Ray Bradbury. It follows the day of an automated house as it goes about its daily chores. Despite the "intelligence" of the house it is unaware that the family that it so dutifully looks after are no longer there.

Apologies for sound and image quality. Having some difficulty with compression and uploading.

Thanks! My main focus for the piece was in lighting and trying to create some atmosphere. I checked out your page and you have a great body of work. Your lighting is spot on! Thanks again for commenting.

Outstanding -- a better visual adaptation of fiction than many of Hollywood's recent efforts.

    Thanks very much.

One of the better animated shorts I've seen in a while. Sure, there's lots of great CGI these days, but this piece actually tells a story. And does so in only a few minutes. A lesson some overly long hollywood features could learn from.

Well done! Animation works so well. Although this is a short story, Bradbury lays out a visual feast with his words. Thanks for posting your work I enjoyed it.
