OFFICIAL SELECTION - CANADIAN SPORT FILM FESTIVAL
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND YOUR NICE COMMENTS! WE APPRECIATE IT!
It was just my brother and me travelling to the Nürburgring with two cams, four lenses and a tripod on the backseat. Intention was to capture the atmosphere, the tension and the incredible challenge for teams and drivers. Back home, the two of us did all the editing, sound design, color correction and artwork.
Congratulations to the Schnitzer BMW Team! Watch this film also on stereoscreen.de/24h.
Here´s the track list:
The whole thing starts with "Hoppipolla!" by Sigur Ros. Then phenomenal Hecq with "Dayout". I also used "Holler" and "FdK". Hecq is incredible good to cut on and does a lot of sounddesign - check out his page... Cinematic Orchestra leads into the night with "Reel Life". I used also Architect with "Fast Lane" and "Pissed in the Morning". Télépopmusik with mellow "Don´t Look Back" for the night. Ben Folds Five "Brick" at 6 A.M. Last track is Gonzales with "The Tourist". Guess that´s it as far as I remember...

Prev week
I'm an American who has been to the 24hrs at Nurby 3 times now... You have captured the atmosphere perfectly; especially the jazz montage as the race passes into the evening.
Huge thumbs up. Brilliant filmmaking.
Grüße aus Potsdam,
Uwe
Hab ich mich doch zurecht schon drauf gefreut.
Ich schreie nach mehr !!!!
I think I saw Chris Harris there? :)
i really think you should ve given creditsfor music at the end. Would not you like to get credited for your hard work?
well, sorry for the missed opportunity with Aston, but wish you luck on your next job.
Also regarding all that copyright issues, "if" you'r not using music from a big mainstream superstar, sometimes its best to ask for non-commercial permission from the artist. maybe if they like your work, they can give the permission, and maybe get interested in your work, you never know!
It was very touching to watch.
Everything was captured beautifully.
Thank you
Excellent choices very supportive of the visuals
What is the title of the last song you used? it starts at 11:31
What is the title of the song which starts at 3:58. Maybe You can post the whole tracklist? It's also AWESOME!
Outstanding work gentlemen.

Great video btw.
What audio rig did you use on the D5? How well did it handle the peaks of car engines?
Could you tell me if you use a rig for your Mk II or do you hold it like an SLR?
I do hope you get to fulfill your Le Mans mission
A perfect example how depth of field of the new digital slr's creates visual impact. Very emotive, and the choice of music is perfect!
Best thing i have seen in a long while - 10/10!
For me 10 out of 10
