In the Square in Palmerston North New Zealand is a place called Te Marae o Hine (Courtyard of the Daughter of Peace) in which stand 10 volcanic boulders lovingly crafted into new forms by some talented sculptors. I decided there was poetry in each and went ahead and crafted poems for each, including the free standing Pou (carvings) of Maori origins.
