Time-lapse movie of the Milky Way towards the constellation of Cassiopeia. The stars can be seen rorating around the North Star (a.k.a. Polaris), and the Andromeda galaxy can be seen as fuzzy object on the right-hand side.
The city in the lower left is Tucson at a distance of roughly 50 miles.
Each frame was exposed for 30 seconds using a Nikon D300 camera, and the time between two frames was 35 seconds.
