On May 1 and 2, 2010, members of the Georgia Canoeing Association paddled the Ocmulgee River near Hawkinsville, GA. Pulaski, Twiggs and Beckley Counties are pulling together to create a 54 mile water trail along the Ocmulgee and this paddling trip was a way to promote the establishment of this trail.
