These are a few examples of the effects work I did on the Sundance Award Winning documentary, TV Junkie (2006). As an Assistant Editor, I spent a lot of my time doing organizational duties and fixing problems but I also sat in on every cut of the film and debated what changes should be made with the two co-Directors and the other Assistant Editor. Around the office however, I think it was my video garbage effects that most people associated me with. Basically, I came up with the idea to make it look like there were bad spots on the raw tapes - to hide jump cuts and give the film a more raw feel - then I come up with the techniques to make these "bad spots" look believable; as if you were just watching the raw, damaged, footage.
