This was a test if it's possible to fly a quadrocopter in heading-hold mode with a normal CCD cam via video goggles at night.
The MTV-54C2AP is not specialized for night view, but it's not so bad.
To compare it to other cams you can see on the first part of the movie the recording of a Panasonic FX-30 at the same time and place.
Important is that you know your landing and takeoff area and have always enough lights to navigate.
I use only the X3D on my copter. There is no X-ACC, GPS, altitude (pressure) sensor or similar help at the flight.
