Henry Balinson immigrated from Russia to Hamilton in 1911. A typesetter and journalist by profession, Henry founded and published the Yiddishe Shtime, a Yiddish language Hamilton-based newspaper over a ten year period beginning in the early 1930s. In this video, Henry's son, Morley Balinson, reminisces about his father and the newspaper that he loved.
