**this is a very EMOTIONAL SDE** Where do I start....well maybe with Holly and Nathan are I think my biggest fans!!! Basically I couldn't have been more excited to film their wedding. When couples are super pumped it makes me that much more PUMPED!! At the time of booking they had not got a Same Day Edit but a few weeks before the wedding Holly messaged me on Facebook and said she wanted to get a SDE. But there was a catch....she wanted it to be a complete SURPRISE to everyone even Nathan (which it was...watch reaction video vimeo.com/12020294 ...which is priceless). Oh how I LOVE surprising people ;) So after only 3 hours of sleep the night before because I had a wedding on friday I got up and even though I should have been tired I was SOOOOO EXCITED!! I had found the perfect song at 3 o'clock in the morning the night before. It was a perfect day for the perfect couple. Now I had been told this was going to be an emotional day...boy was I in for it...I was getting emotional just listening to the song on the way over. They got married in this beautiful little town of Hermann, MO. So tears were flowing all day and I had a hard time keeping it together...but in the end we kept the SDE a secret from everyone and well I had a blast. When I finally told Nathan about it vimeo.com/12020294 ...it was so funny he was like I was wandering where you were..I saw your partner filming thought you were prolly filming a sunset or something lol. I CAN'T thank Holly and Nathan enough for being sooooooooo AMAZING!!!

Great Job Mike. Jackpot! It Doesn't matter how many toys we have and how good we get at this. Without those moments created by the people in the video's they wouldn't be what they are.

You are sooo right about the toys! Moments like these you just can't stage, script, or fake and you just need to be ready when they come. There's nothing like a good solid locked down shot to capture them either ;) Also none of my videos would be what they without the combination of about 100 million thing coming together ;)

  • Great work Mr. Gebbs :)
3:50 and 4:00 in the video were great shots. Very good 'feel' too. As a viewer, you managed to make me feel connected with the couple.
Great song choice, it goes a)well with the piece and b) seems to fit them well. Sick moving shots (I am trying to figure how you got some of those shots all with just a Glidecam 2000 (handheld)

This was so inspirational to watch as an aspiring filmmaker wanting to get into new areas like wedding videography. And I actually just shot my cousins wedding at this exact location! Great job!
