This is NOT how things are supposed to be on the balmy Pacific coast. The normal for today is 6C, the day started with -5 and a 15 knot wind for a wind chill of -11C. The wind was upgraded to a gale warning, which has just been upgraded to a storm warning. We are expecting winds of 45 to 55 knots this afternoon. The birds aren't the only ones in shock.
