Well done, and just I love Carla and Alan! This short inspired a short story that I'd like to do. This was top notch and they should lengthen it into a feature. I would love to see the resolution of the story.

Wow. Inspiring stuff. How did you get such a great cast together? Did you spend your own money or how did you talk people into investing in such a short film?

I mean you definitely delivered, but I can't see how someone would see any kind of return on their investment with this. Just cuz it's so short. Not knocking it, but curious how all this financing stuff works.

Either way, amazing job. You definitely have a gift for storytelling.

I paid for the film myself and pulled in a lot of favours. I had a great Producer. The actors all worked for SAG minimum.
Red, who I test for, lent me cameras and let me shoot in their studio which was a massive help.
My main costs were sets, travel, crew and accommodation and post. We shot in LA and my main crew and I are all from the UK so those costs got high.
The idea started through a brainstorm with Carla Gugino about doing a photoshoot and it just grew from there into a film.

Beautiful short. Cinematography was inspiring to say the least!

I was curious how much of the film was actual shot with the epic body? I assumed a lot of the stuff in the interrogation room, but that's just a guess given the extremely shallow depth of field and the look of the images in general. I could be wrong though.

To be honest I got a bit bored, the general idea for the storyline is OK, but the pace to slow, nor enough suspense, script a bit cliche and slow. There was lots of scope for a higher level of sensuality, lighting adequate but text book, coloring OK but I would have made it a stop brighter but more desaturation, The idea is great but I feeling its execution was a 5 out of 10, Good effort though.

Greg Williams is an incredible photographer/cinematographer and director I really enjoyed being a part of this project. Working in Hollywood I rarely get a chance to work in the European way of filmmaking. Greg brought his crew from the UK so I did not do any lighting on this project. I am credited as the Steadicam Operator and Key Grip (Key Grip for them only does camera support). I can only wish that Greg's work in the motion picture biz brings him back to LA and we can work together again.
