Yisroel Adamski was born in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine in 1922 and his family were members of the Dnepropetrovsk community when Rabbi Levi Yitzchak was Chief Rabbi there.

As part of the 'My Encounter with the Rebbe' project, here Yisroel Adamski tells over his memories of the celebration held in Dnepropetrovsk in honor of the wedding of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson and Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson.

The Rebbe's parents weren't allowed passage out of Russia to attend their son's wedding in Warsaw.
