Damn! I need me one of those fortune cookies. Did you put this in any short film competition? Its really really good! Actually believable actors / characters! Well done creep! Since you struck power ball and date, pick up a Krispy Kreme for me on the way please, its by the entrance. ;)

    JVC's HD3? Really??
  • Anthony Meadows plus 1 year ago
Yeah man! I'll definitely hook you up with some Krispy Kremes! Thanks for the awesome comment! Perhaps I should put it into a competition, who knows!? That gz-hd3 packs quite a little punch for being such a tiny camcorder huh?

yeah, its H.264. This will be nothing compared to what we're working on later this month. We're doing a short that we've been writing for about 3 months now. It should be finished and up in mid August sometime, so keep an eye out! :D Thanks again Tinu!

what boom mic did you use?
  •
  • Anthony Meadows plus 1 year ago
some 60 dollar mic whose name doesn't come to mind right at the moment, not too fancy, but not too cheap.

It's a shame that there was some audio and focus issues but the story was pretty good and offered some good questions, and that's what's important. I enjoyed it! I also liked the main characters, that's hard to do with so little time. I want to see more.

Ha! thanks James. yeah, the lack of a manual focus ring makes it more trouble than its worth, but I'm workin on gettin a 35 mm lens kit for my hd3 in the very near future. I tend to get lazy when it comes to editing audio, its a down-fall of mine. Our next project will be a vast improvement over this I promise

Very good, only an trick to use an tripod and turn off the EIS (DIS). Can be better. You can use tripod till to stabilize while walking, less jitter. The sharpness and colors is very good to an 1/5 CCD HD handcam.
  • Anthony Meadows plus 1 year ago
Yeah, I've got a lot of the necseties but believe it or not, I don't own a tripod! Ha! I should get on that huh? Thanks for the tip Italo!
  • Italo Valerio 1 year ago
Yes, it´s part of professional start. It happened with me, in my start, only after some times i get the first tripod, an Zenith TZ80, very very light but much soft movement. Was +- US 75,00 (R$ 150,00 in Brazil). I have it till now. (sorry my english).
  • Anthony Meadows plus 1 year ago
Well thanks, I'll have to look into that, I'll probably pick one up this weekend thanks to your tip! No problem by the way! Your english is great! Keep it up, it is very good!

Is the story fictitious or is it based on a true story (that you had encountered)?
  • Anthony Meadows plus 11 months ago
it is fictitious, but it was inspired by the feeling every guy gets when he likes a girl but is too afraid to say so. figured lots of guys would understand how that works.
